Grant Application Process

The Endowment Fund awards grants to staff members in the Nelson County School District. Teachers, athletic and other teams, and parent-teacher-student organizations are encouraged to apply.

Karen Ragland Gifted Education Grant

The Karen Ragland Gifted Education Grant provides funding for innovative and creative projects and activities that enhance the education of students who have been identified as “gifted” for instructional purposes. It is named to honor the memory of a long-time Nelson County gifted-services teacher.
