Giving

You may give a tax deductible dona­tion to the Endow­ment Fund in any of the fol­lowing ways:

• Cash or checks
• Pledges over time
• Gifts of secu­ri­ties, real estate, col­lec­tions or other per­sonal property
• Gifts in honor or memory of a loved one
• Planned gifts in a will or a bequest

Gifts may be des­ig­nated for a spe­cific pur­pose or program.

A con­tri­bu­tion to the Nelson County Edu­ca­tion Endow­ment Fund, Inc. — be it $5 or $5,000 — is a way to enhance an already quality edu­ca­tion pro­gram. Your gift will ensure the following:

• pur­chase of mate­rials beyond those pro­vided by tax sources.
• estab­lish­ment of a per­ma­nent endow­ment for the Nelson County Schools.
• enrich­ment for the school system’s curriculum.
• funding of cre­ative teaching projects.
• stu­dent scholarships.
• increased inter­ac­tion between school and com­mu­nity in a pos­i­tive and sup­portive manner.
• building pride in, instilling con­fi­dence in and inspiring com­mit­ment to the Nelson County Schools.

The Endow­ment Fund can be suc­cessful only with a broad base of sup­port from par­ents, busi­nesses, edu­ca­tors, alumni and friends.
